| ● Introduction | Shew-Huei Kuo is an associate professor of finance at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Kuo holds a B.A. degree with a major in Slavic languages and literatures and a minor in international affairs from National Chengchi University, an M.P.P. degree from Harvard University, U.S.A., and a M.S. and a Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University, U.S.A. After graduating, she served as an economist at Asian Development Bank before joining the Department of Finance at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology in 2005. Her research areas encompass financial risk management, time series econometrics, and financial markets. |
