| ● Introduction | Shu-Ching Chou is a professor of finance at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (NYUST). Chou holds a BA in accounting from National Chengchi University, an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, U.S., and a Ph.D. in accounting from National Sun Yat-sen University, R.O.C. She used to be the Dean of the Doctoral Program in Industrial Management, Dean of Finance department at NYUST. She is now the executive director of the on-the-job Master program of Finance department at NYUST. Her areas of research include corporate finance and corporate governance. Professor Chou and her students have received research awards from the Taiwan Finance association annual conference (the best thesis award), Fubon Life Management Doctor and Master Thesis award (the excellent award), and the Taiwan Management Institute thesis award (the best award and excellent award). Professor Chou is also honored for excellent teaching awards and excellent counseling award by YUNTECH. For practice, Professor Chou is a Certified Public Accountant of U.S. and used to be the supervisor senior auditor in KPMG accounting firm, Taipei. She is also an SGS certified auditor for ISO 14064-2: 2019, SGS accredited trainer for PAS 2060: 2014, and CPC certified trainee for GRI standards and practice of ESG report. |
